2. People’s imaginations are active, but limited (Ephesians 3.20).

3. Job feared the loss of his wealth and the loss of his children.

4. But he never imagined the loss of his reputation with his friends.

He can afflict you with:

5B. Spiritual Blindness To The Gospel

6B. Life Destroying Temptations

3A. THERE IS THE PUNISHMENT OF GOD - Hereafter

1B. Hell - torment, thirst, isolation, dread

2B. Great White Throne Judgment - shame, guilt, fear, dread

3B. Lake Of Fire - unquenchable fire, weeping, gnashing

Bottomless Pit - falling

Outer Darkness - alone, lonely, sensory deprivation

CONCLUSION:

1. Mom and dad can comfort you at night when you have a nightmare.

2. But Jesus does more. He’s more loving, more powerful, more capable.

3. To His Own He says, "Fear not." And "I am with thee."
